WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19 - At Sea

We have a hard time getting up this morning. I guess we are suffering the effects of three active days in the heat and humidity. After breakfast in the dinning room, we go to Terry’s lecture on Ecuador - Home of the Panama Hat. There is a wine tasting at 11AM, but it doesn’t appeal...we really must be zapped from the heat! Back in the room we both settle down with our computer...Dick to play Civilization V and Carolyn to get caught up on the Blog.

Times passes and it is 2PM before we realize it. Dick orders club sandwiches for both of us from room service and we continue messing on our computers. Carolyn finally gets the last three days written, pictures sorted and everything posted. She tries to read, but falls asleep. Dick goes to Trivia at 4:30PM. Carolyn had planned to go to Tea Time today, but sleeps through it and misses the crepes!

We are invited to the cocktail party for the returning Mariners at 6PM, but pass and go to the Lounge for a drink and then on to dinner.
After dinner, Carolyn packs for our overnight to Quito tomorrow. They have so many going they have to use two planes. We are in the later group, so don’t have to get up so early, but put out a room service breakfast card anyway so we don’t have to rush in the morning. Jack is going too. He wants to sit on the Equator!
